Hideyo joined the Corporate/Financial Practice of Burson-Marsteller, where she supported public relations activities for domestic and international clients.
She then joined J.P. Morgan and later UBS and worked in the corporate communications department, where she was involved in internal and external communications activities in Japan and the APAC region.
In 2004, Hideyo returned to Burson-Marsteller (now BCW). She currently leads teams of key client accounts, advising on corporate messaging in media relations and stakeholder communications. She works with a wide variety of clients on evolving challenges in the fields of crisis communications, financial transaction communications, corporate transformation, ESG communications and corporate communications.
