After working for a telecommunications equipment manufacturer in the U.S., he joined ITOCHU Corporation in 2004 and has been stationed in Silicon Valley, U.S. twice, from 2007 to 2009 and from 2017 to 2020. Since joining the company, including periods of secondment to ITOCHU Techno-Solutions Corporation and ITOCHU Technology Ventures, Inc., he has been consistently engaged in strategic business development in the IT and digital domains, including venture capital and startup investments.
